Staff Data Scientist, Algorithm (Payments Optimization)

This role is within the Product and Risk Platform team which drives the technical direction of the Payments Optimization team, designing advanced algorithms to enhance payment performance and drive product adoption at scale.

What Will You Do?
As a Staff Data Scientist, Algorithm (Payments Optimization) at Airwallex, you will define and drive technical strategy for multi-objective payments optimization covering conversion rates, fraud risk, and costs. You will serve as technical owner on cross-functional initiatives solving complex problems with broad business impact. Additionally, you will provide thought leadership on optimization algorithms like contextual bandits and experimentation techniques including A/B testing and causal inference.
