A Data Scientist, Experimentation at Wolt is responsible for leading the effort in building robust, standardized and efficient methodologies in the company’s experimentation platform to ensure high-quality setup and trustworthy results to aid decision making. The Data Scientist will advise teams across Wolt to help them design and run experiments with the appropriate setup for different use cases, while also identifying opportunities to automate experimentation efforts within the platform. They will educate stakeholders on experimentation theory, concepts, and best practices, and develop and adopt statistical methods to ensure the proper experiment setup and measurements in different types of experiments. The Data Scientist will work closely with software and data engineers in the team, as well as data analysts, data scientists, and product leads across the company. This role requires experience with experimentation and A/B testing, as well as familiarity with Bayesian statistics and machine learning. Fluency in Python and experience with databases (SQL) is also necessary. A degree in a field relevant to data science is preferred.
