WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We need an influential operator to deliver the global testing strategy across our local markets. The Go-to-Market team exists to connect dots and accelerate outcomes across verticals. The team is untethered to a specific function because you are accountable for driving (short-term and long-term) revenue across the organization by piecing together the right mix of people, process, and technology.
The candidate will have deep experience driving a/b testing and experimentation, ideally with the Adobe stack. This role needs a builder, operator, translator, and trusted leader with vision. The ideal candidate enjoys operational execution at-scale and working with marketers and operators to evangelize, upskill, and train internal partners.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- You will orchestrate the successful execution of defined experimentation plans across Geo-based operating teams.
- You will be responsible for elevating experimentation at Nike, including collaborating to craft new operational processes, training programs, and operational-support mechanisms for marketers and internal operators.
- This role is hands-on with the product, the engineers, and the marketing operators to make sure that there is utmost focus on the key problems to solve and coordination in solutions that are built.
- The team will build processes and formal structures to incentivize teams to work across geos, marketing, product, and engineering.
- You are encouraged to jump in to set up segments, test activities, and more to kickstart the work or to help where needed.
- Coordinate segments, insights, and other components of the business in a way that’s consumable by the operating teams with your team working side by side in the geographical POD set up.
- You charge problems by moving dedicated team members in positions to be successful or by fixing it yourself in a way that can be repeated the next time by others.
- Bring clarity to what’s happening on all sides and at all levels so that we can quickly identify issues and tackle problems.
- Understand, track, and communicate the senior leadership’s vision, KPIs and key metrics to their team and implement a roadmap to ensure all deliverables and goals are met or exceeded.
- Proactively follow up with the leadership team to ensure experimentation goals are being met and actions are being pursued through completion.
- You can artfully balance revenue-based goals with consumer-experience objectives.
- You establish cross-functional communications delivered in a variety of team meetings at all levels of the company – from scrum teams to leadership groups.
- Rally teams around common frameworks, standardized segmentation and core customer journeys, and training with expertise and examples from other industries for inspiration.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will own the Experimentation team for the Go-to-Market team, driving results for Nike’s Digital Marketing Transformation. You will have both operating and management responsibilities. You will coordinate the cross-functional team across Consumer Direct Marketing, Membership, Digital Products, and more. You will be responsible for a small group of external temporary workers. You will also get along with external partners to maximize the value of our marketing resources.
This leader will ultimately be responsible for experimentation excellence and outcomes across our geographies.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING?
- Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience and training
- 5+ years of proven track record with a focus on a/b testing, multi variate testing, segmentation, and/or personalization
- Strong digital program and project management background ideally within the CRM and MarTech space.
- Strong Marketing Technology and CRM executional competence at scale ideally with the Adobe suite of solutions
- Passion and aim to guide operators how to use new tools and capabilities to both perform their tasks today as well as transform ways of working internally and experiment with new ways to reach, serve, and retain members at scale in the future.
- Strong analytical and financial chops
- Ability to operate and set up strong structure, process, and rubrics cross functionally and at scale for sound program and project management
- Change management and transformation experience at scale
- Deep curiosity for the consumer, the changing marketing and industry landscape, a passion for leading teams and driving transformation!
